A group of 17 items, including a beautiful plated bronze medallion featuring Mercury on the recto, by Arthur Lee; used by Lehmann Brothers or their 100th anniversary (1950). A plated brass medallion of Ulysses S. Grant (like the gold one given to him by Joint Resolution of Congress) commemorating his victory at Vicksburg. Another medallion honors Thomas Truxtun, who took part in the Quasi War with France (1798-1800) and became a commodore. Other medallions promote Bausch and Lomb, U.S. Air Force Lockheed F-80, San Gabriel Dam Number One, labor leader Samuel Gompers, Telephone Pioneers of America, Hampden County Memorial Bridge, Indianapolis Sesquicentennial, Wanaque Project, Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Co., Japan Airlines Trans Pacific Service 25th Year, Del E. A fantastic collection of authentic relics from America's past, a show and tell of history. Collection includes: 1.) Rectangular and numbered fragment from beam in Independence Hall in presentaion box with COA 2.) Marble off the Jessie James Monument in Kearney, Missouri.This piece is tagged from 1913 on an aged Western Union address card, identifying the fragment written in black fountain pen ink 3.) Single brick California State Capitol (1860), Hand-forged nail from the home of John Marshall 4.) Key To The City of Boston from Mayor James Curley in 1930 for the Tercentenary made of historic 200 year-old elm in Lexington, 5.) Cedar knife from a tree on the grounds of Beauvoir House in Biloxi, Miss. the Jefferson Davis Shrine, 6.) Wood From Delta Queen's Paddle Wheel, 7.) A gavel, souvenir horseshoes (dated 1941, 1942 and 1945) and a block of wood all identified as wood or commemoratives of Sutter's Fort 8.) Not from America but a certified piece of the Rock of Gibralter, actually fashioned by a craftsman into the point which was a premium given to the Conference of Mayors in 1971 as a gift from Prudential, in lucite with COA. Lot 397		21 Vintage, Original 16mm Films from the Late 30s and 40s -- Includes Newsreels of The Hindenburg Explosion, Charles Linbergh & Cartoons. Interesting collection of newsreel footage, featurettes and animated classics including Mickey Mouse. The two largest films at 200 feet reels is the Pathe and Kodak Cinegraph footage of the historic Hindenburg disaster an the Roosevelt Memorial service. The others at about 100 feet are "An Aerial Trip Over New York", Two of Lindbergh on "In Mexico", the other in "Washington and Abroad", Early 20th Century Royals including George V and Queen Mary, The 1935 Grand National, 1948 World Series and many more. Animated films include Mickey Mouse, Kiko The Kangaroo, Simple Simon, Aladdin's Lamp and Mary's Little Lamb. Checking most of the reels, the films appear in very good condition and supple. Lot 398		A Trove of Over 50 Rare Dedication and Commemorative Medals Spanning 100 Years. A diverse but rich collection of medals, coins, and other pieces mostly dedications of triumphs in architecture and infrastructure throughout North America Some of these pieces are extremely rare: medal for the 1908 dedication of the Williamsburg Bridge New York, dedication of Coit Tower San Francisco, dedication medal for the Triborough Bridge, and the 1908 dedication medal of the Hartford Bridge. But countless more recognizing Delaware Memorial Bridge, Old Monterey, Zampa Memorial Bridge, Victoria Jubilee Bridge (rare 1900 history), Bayonne Bridge and many more. Also included is a rare Native Sons of the Golden West 1920s medal, and two sharpshooter medals from the 1950s one from Los Angeles Police that is quite scarce that enhance this collection. Lot 399		Abraham Lincoln Encased Hair Clippings with Provenance. Two of the four hairs are 1cm; the other two are .5cm, encased in a 2.25cm x 2.25cm case, which is matted with a photo of Lincoln and the provenance, to a size of 10 x 8". According to the provenance, Lincoln gave several strands of hair to Mrs. Caroline Wright, wife of Governor Joseph A. Wright of Indiana, who collected hair of political figures. The hair relic remained in the Wright family until sold with other items at Christie's in 1992. The relics were sold again by Christie's as part of the Forbes Collection (Lot #121), a description of which is attached to a COA from the Historical Shop, on the back of this item. Lot 400		Antique Naga Buddha Statue in Patinated Bronze and Buddha Sakyamuni in Gold Leaf. Naga, in Hinduism and Buddhism, is the Sanskrit word for a deity taking the form of a great snake, specifically the multi-headed king cobra. The Buddhist naga has the form of a great cobra, usually depicted with a single head but sometimes with many heads as here, but from the back it appears as a single great serpent. The naga here (Mucilinda) protected the Buddha from violent elements after he attained enlightenment. Beautifully cast patinated brass with exceptional polish and detail and of surprising weight. 7" tall The smaller Buddha Sakyamuni represents the power of an enlightened mind and is the Buddha of Healing and Meditation and appears to be of some age. 3 x 1½". Harry Truman, a limited deluxe edition of the Truman-Barkley Official Inaugural Program, 1949; with a Harry S. Truman Library Fund Dinner program, held in San Francisco, 1955, with color portrait of Truman affixed to cover. Benjamin Franklin: Brochure titled "The Memory of Benjamin Franklin.," An Address delivered by Hon. James M. Beck, New York City, 1924, 20 pages; plus three other brochures. Al Gore color PS. George C. Wallace 1964 TLS as Governor of Alabama railing against the recent passage of the civil rights bill. Also, signed FDC honoring the 49th star in the American Flag and a 10 x 8" PS. A 1939 booklet on "George Washington The President" issued by the United States Constitution Sesquicentennial Commission. A 1953 Program for the Fiftieth Anniversary Dinner of the Circumnavigators Club, held at the Stork Club in New York, honoring General Douglas MacArthur. Lot 402		Aviation Memorabilia, An Eclectic Group, Including Transcontinental Air Transport, An Engraving of Lindbergh's Nostalgia VI, a Spitfire Bolt, Etc. This group includes: Limited Edition Engraving, "Nostalgia VI - The Lone Eagle - Lindbergh" by Herb Fichter, No. 215 of 400, 7¼ x 10¼"; matted and framed to 12½ x 15¼". Two TAT [Transcontinental Air Transport, Inc.] covers commemorating their inaugural coast to coast flight via air and railroad, July 8, 1929; one is signed by the mayor and governor of Columbus, Ohio. A TAT Illustrated Map showing route from Columbus, Ohio to Los Angeles and a TAT pack of playing cards with case. Charles A. Lindbergh helped plan the airline and served as pilot. A piece of the control panel retrieved from the wreckage of the USS Shenandoah, the first of four U.S. Navy rigid airships. Constructed in 1922-23, it made the first crossing of North America by airship. It wrecked in a squall over Ohio in Sept. 1925. N 747 PA plaque-- named in honor of the founder of the airline, Pam Am "Clipper Juan T. Trippe," the first Boeing 747-100 given a production number; it flew for Pan Am from New York to London for over 20 years. An 8½ x 14¼" piece of wood from an airplane made into a picture frame, with vintage photo. A 2½" bolt on a wooden mount saying it was recovered 10/81 and is from the Battle of Britain Spitfire piloted by Stanford Tuck. A small piece of original fabric from Byrd's Antarctic Airplane. Lot 405		Bookends With Brass Geological Markers, a Nevada Highway Dept. Marker, and a U.S. General Land Office Survey Brass Knob. Pair of brass U.S. Geological Survey Bench Marks made into bookends by mounting them on wood from an Oregon Juniper, approximately 3½" high x 4¼" width and 2½" deep. A Nevada Highway Dept. brass marker, 3½" in diameter, mounted on a 5½ x 5½ x 1¾" block of wood, notes the elevation is 5651.36 and other information; and a heavy brass knob, 2½" in diameter, says "61-U.S. General Land Office Survey / Penalty $250 For Removal." Lot 406		British Relics From the House of Parliament, London Bridge, Tower Bridge, and Melrose Abbey. Two pieces of stone and an ashtray made from stone with medallions affixed saying, "This Stone Came From the Houses of Parliament. The larger piece is 6" (15.24cm") in length, 4.3" (10.922cm) wide, and 2" (5.08cm) high; the second stone is not quite as long but is 2.5" (6.35cm) high. The ashtray is 4.5" (11.43cm) in diameter. A piece of granite from the Old London Bridge, London, England has been made into a pen holder (pens missing). A charming wood box "Made of Wood Grown on the Lands of Abbotsford" has a vignette of Melrose Abbey on the top, with Kelso Abbey and the town of Melrose on each side; it is 2.5" tall (6.35cm) and the top is 3" (7.62cm) in diameter. There is also a pewter Royal Mint Centenary Medal, 2.5" (6.35cm), commemorating the one hundredth anniversary of the Tower Bridge (1894-1994). Lot 407		Cane Made From Admiral Nelson's Flagship "Foudoyant". Oak cane with copper head, 35½" (77cm), made from the HMS Foudoyant, which served as Admiral Horatio Nelson's flagship from 1799-1800. The ship finally broke up in a gale in 1897. The copper head has three different images. One is a bust image of Nelson with "Horatio Viscount Nelson" above and "Born Sep. 1758/Died Oct. 1805" below. Another image is of the ship, with "'Foudoyant' Nelson's Flagship" above and below, "Commenced 1789/Launched 1798/Wrecked Blackpool 1797." The third image is in the shape of a coat of arms with "Oak and Copper From Vessel" above and "After Breaking Up" below. Engraved vertically is "Rec.d No. 311490." Nineteen photographs, all but one 3½ x 5¾", showing various ways people were executed, dead bodies, etc. Photos have English descriptions in the plates. The Xinhai Revolution or the Chinese Revolution or the Revolution of 1911,was a revolution that overthrew China's last imperial dynasty and established the Republic of China. Lot 409		Collection of 16 Mostly Antique Souvenir/Collectible Spoons 12 Sterling 5 Silver Plate. 12 collectible/souvenir sterling silver spoons (so stamped on verso) some over a 100 years old, collection totaling almost 9 ozt. The oddball is the baby spoon given to Durward Kirby (famed television personality of the 50s and 60s and pop-culture reference such as in the film Pulp Fiction) from his estate with considerable provenance. The balance are souvenir spoons some from the early 20th Century some with enamel details. Pasadena, New York City (one for the Brooklyn Bridge has skyline of Manhattan along stem of spoon) Seattle, Alaska and more. There are over 30 beautiful medallions and medals here commemorating the opening of the George Washington Bridge, The Delaware Water Bridge, The Bayonne Bridge, Mount Hope Bridge, and many others dating as far back as the 1920s. A unique history of America's resourcefulness and engineering. Also included is a fine collection of Sydney Harbor Bridge which began construction in 1923 and was completed in 1932.Collection of 12 items spans items from the 1930s to the 1960s and includes a very scarce March 19,1932 certificate of appreciation and service signed by the Lord Mayor Sir Samuel Walder and the chairman of the Grand Opening Celebrations, hand painted china including cup and saucer, vintage paper print of bridge in tin frame, paper weight, metal trays, vintage enamel and brass pins and a glass recreation. Also included are two pottery dishes commemorating The Forth Bridge now a World Heritage Site in Scotland built in the 1890s, vintage plate from the Great Causeway of Galveston in Texas, two small granite rounds from the Mackinac Bridge, and a vintage pin tray of the Arch Bridge in Vermont. Collection of nine Civil War era fragments from cast iron cannonballs each beautifully hand lettered where found. Fragments vary in size and certainly in the size of the cannonball originally from. Appear to have been cleaned for appeal and some clear-coated. Nice collection of relics for Civil War collectors identifying such historic battle sites such as Seven Pines, Shiloh, Manassas, Antietam and Resaca. Lot 412		Collection of Vintage Badges and Medals -- Includes G.A.R., Athletic Prizes, Labor Unions, Etc. In athletics, there is an 1890 Second Prize for "Throwing 16 Lb. Hammer," OAC [Oregon Agricultural College / PCAAA [Pacific Coast Amateur Athletic Assn.]; name of winner is engraved on back: "W. Morrow/May 30/S.F. Cal."; medal was made by George C. Shreve & Co. Also, a badge for Castro Parlor No. 232, Native Sons of the Golden West, which sponsored teams during the 1920s and 1930s; a 1944 tennis medal from Chicago Sports Ass'n for Open Championship Men's Doubles, and a One-Mile Run badge with N.C.S.N.Y. Jan. 22.84. There are two attractive G.A.R. badges, one for 1909 (Salt Lake City), and one for the 1916 convention in Cleveland, and two darkened medals honoring G.A.R. commanders I.N. Walker and Thomas H. Gault, plus a small Dept. Mass. G.A.R. badge with "Beans." Also, a 1981 Guest badge for the 1981 Rededication of the Tomb of Abraham Lincoln. Also included are two vintage badges for the International Association of Bridge & Structural Iron Workers, one for Local Union No. 118, Sacramento, and the other for Local No. 31, San Francisco. Lot 413		Eads Bridge, St. Louis 1874 -- Collection of 20 + Commemorative Pieces, Many Antique. Eads Bridge, the St. Louis Landmark has been declared a National Historic Landmark. Opened in 1874, by James Buchannan Eads and financed by Andrew Carnegie, it was a road and rail bridge connecting St. Louis, Miss. and East St. Louis, Illinois and was one of the earliest long bridges built across the Mississippi and tall enough for steamboats to travel underneath. Bridge proved a spectacular feat of engineering and was celebrated and visited by millions. Offered is a collection of commemoratives, with some of the porcelain pieces certainly antique. Collection includes two beakers, two plates, cup/saucer, compote, mug (repaired) all made in Europe at the turn of the century as well as a metal antique pin tray. There are also mid-20th Century pieces which include two plates, two tankards and one beaker, photo paperweight and plate of gilt tin. Rounding out the collection, an antique book with pull out photos of the bridge and St. Louis and a brick removed during the renovation in 1995 and later, medals celebrating the centennial. Nine items, including the "First practical incandescent lamp of 1879 / Made at the Golden Gate International Exposition / General Electric Exhibit""; three Gold Moulded Records; a piece of Atlantic telephone cable from a 1956 B.S.M.V. Conference in Atlantic City, N.J.; a small telegraph machine, 3¾ x 5¼"; Roebling wire spool, 3½ x 3"; small gilt case with Edison's image, with notepad and graphic pencil, 2¼ x 1¾"; and a gilt medal celebrating "Light's Golden Jubilee", 1¾" in diameter, with an image of Edison and "Dedicated to Better Vision" and the dates 1879-1929" on the back. Lot 415		Excellent 12 Pound Civil War Era Cast Iron Cannonball. Excavated 12 pounder, solid shot cast iron cannonball a solid addition to anyone's Civil War artillery or relic collection. 4½ inches in diameter and right at 12 pounds on our postal scale. Lot 416		Fine Collection of Relics From The USS Constitution From The 1927 Restoration. The USS Constitution "Old Ironsides" is a wooden-hulled, three-masted heavy frigate of the United States Navy, named by President George Washington after the Constitution of the United States of America. She is the world's oldest commissioned naval vessel still afloat and was launched in 1797. The ship boasts one of the most astonishing legacies in American Naval Heritage and History and as such has been a museum and educational tool for over 100 years. She has gone through several restorations and pieces of the ship have been removed and replaced, with those removed pieces finding their way to collections throughout the world. From the complete 1927 restoration, two pin trays, an ashtray and a medallion all of iron and brass once removed, were melted and re purposed into these very well designed commemoratives with the medallion mounted on a sizeable 4½ x 5" wood section taken from the original hull. Lot 417		Historic Hotels, 9 Vintage and Antique Pieces -- The Waldorf, The Fairmont, The Savoy & More. Fine collection of vintage or antique pieces from legendary 20th Century hotels that defined a period of elegant accommodations when traveling. 1.) A brass advertising ashtray with Oberst Cigarettes and the Waldorf-Astoria in high relief (1906-1920). The original Waldorf-Astoria, two buildings, were situated on Astor family properties along Fifth Avenue, opened in 1893 and was demolished in 1929 to make way for the construction of the Empire State Building. Ashtray is missing clip that held cigarette pack. 2.) From the Astor Hotel an antique Art Nouveau blue majolica calling card dish, NYC 3.) Savoy Hotel, Dusseldorf key and fob that actually has provenance coming from Jefferson Airplane founder and lead singer, Marty Bolin and is so tagged on verso. 3.) A vintage early 20th Century printed silk and wood hand fan from the Fairmont Hotel, San Francisco atop Nob Hill. 4.) 1920s era dish from the historic, Multnomah Hotel Portland, Oregon, one of the most famous on the entire West Coast. The balance are paperweights from The Clarendon, Sea Breeze, Florida, The Stanford Court, Nob Hill, The Belvedere Hotel, Baltimore, Maryland and an original fob from the Vendome Hotel, Indiana. Lot 418		John Hancock's Breeches Artifact. A 4¼ x 2¼" piece of burgundy velvet cloth identified by an old attached note as a piece of the breeches of John Hancock. Provenance includes a mimeograph copy of a 1915 statement from a descendant of Hancock's. Alice Ward Harris writes that John Hancock's father and her great great grandmother's father were brothers and that he was cousin to Annae Hancock Potter, her great great grandmother, and that the fragment had come down in the family to her. (She mistakenly says that John Hancock had no children; he had a daughter and a son but they died at ten months and nine years, respectively). With a 1999 receipt. Large quarto, hardcover, 402 pages. Thick, beige cloth-bound hardcovers with gilt embossing on cover and gilt title on leather label. Pages with gilt top edge; other edges are rough cut; 89 illustrations with captioned tissues, Cover has some soiling and front hinge is loosening; bumped corners. This copy was presented to C.W. Dimick. With a 1946, 2nd place medallion from the S[an] F[rancisco] Y[acht] [C]lub] Farallon Island Race, beautifully cast in the shape of a captain's wheel, 5" in diameter. with dramatic racing yacht in high relief. Lot 422		Original Section of Railroad Track from Florida East Coast Railway, Florida Keys and Denver & Rio Grande Locomotive Blueprint. Great for collectors of railway ephemera. First a section of track from the Over-sea Railway in Florida Keys built by Henry Flagler (founder of Standard Oil) and completed in 1912 and called "The Eight Wonder of the World", Unfortunately it was destroyed by a hurricane in 1935. Section of track is 4½ x 6 x 5" and has a battery clock set inside (untested) and plaque identifying authenticity and provenance. Section weighs 10 pounds. The other is a re-print of a the design of the locomotive for the Denver & Rio Grande Locomotive, 1881. Lot 424		Panama Canal Zone Relics and Panama Pacific Exposition Relics -- Includes Badges Worn by Canal Workers, Items Made From Railroad Ties, Etc. Among the relics are six badges used by Panama Canal Commission workers, two of which are attached to railroad tiles which say "A Life For Each Tie / Panama." There are three pairs of bookends, all on wood stands. One pair from "Panama Rail Road 1853-1869"; another pair is from "Panama Railroad/Old French Rail and Lignum Vitae (Guayacan, Recina) Tie/Circa 1850-1875." The third pair has one bookend from "Original Panama Road 1849-1867," and the other from "French Rail Forged in Belgium/Panama 1865-1903." Numerous other relics include a pack of playing cards with images of the canal being built; a tube of various colors of sand from the Canal Zone; a clock made from an original Panama railroad tie; a Society of the Chagres ashtray; and a medal commemorating the opening of the Canal to commerce. From the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition in San Francisco, which celebrated the opening of the Panama Canal, come two replicas of the Liberty Bell, a souvenir brass token, 24.5mm, with the Great Seal of the Isthmus of Panama on the reverse; and a bronze 34mm souvenir dollar/medal issued by San Diego with Uncle Sam on the obverse and an image of the S.S. Lot 426		Relics From the Great Chicago Fire (1871), the San Francisco Fire (1906), and the Oregon State Capitol Fire (1935). Small smoking pipe, 5¾" long, with a tile sheared on to the stem, with an old note: From the Ruins of the Great Chicago Fire. A blue and white water pitcher, 6½ x 6½ x 4", was burned in the San Francisco fire and was recovered by Elsa H. Roach from her home. A letter of provenance accompanies the pitcher. A third relic is a lobby rail, 3¾" long x 2" in diameter, which was in The Old Statehouse (Salem, OR) which burned in 1935; the rail is mounted on a 6¾ x 4" piece of polished marble. (3 items). Watergate--a 1½ x 1¾" piece of carpet taken from the Watergate office of the Democratic National Headquarters on June 17, 1972; a small "bug" is lodged on the carpet, which is mounted with a plaque on a 5 x 6¾" piece of wood. Lot 430		Two Canes: One From Wood Salvaged From A War of 1812 Ship, and One With Civil War Connection, Celebrating the GAR (1) War of 1812 - 33½" cane with plaque saying "USS Oneida/Sacketts Harbor/War of 1812." The Oneida captured the British schooner Lord Nelson on 5 June 1812, and in April 1813 was involved in the capture of York (now Toronto) and Fort George, Canada. The Oneida finally sank in the 1830s and the cane is made from wood salvaged from her. (2) 35" cane with decorative GAR [Grand Army of the Republic] German silver head; with military paraphernalia. Lot 432		Unique Alaska Pipeline Memorabilia, Including "First Crude Oil From the Alaskan Pipeline". 5" sphere containing a smaller sphere of oil and a sign, "First Crude Oil From the Alaskan Pipeline." The larger sphere is displayed on a 4 x 4 x 1½" mount with a plaque, "Claude Akins/Appreciation/Dowell Safety Program." With 9½ x 14¼" bookends made from equipment used to lay the pipeline. Also, desk weight from an original section of the Trans-Alaska pipeline, 1 1/8 x 2¾"; a Lucite case, 3½ x 3½" with map of Alaska and red line showing the Prudhoe Bay Field. Additionally, a medalion bearing a bust of William H. Seward under "North to the Future" and celebrating the centennial of the Alaska Purchase (1867-1967). Construction on the Trans Alaska Pipeline System began in March 1975 and was completed in May 1977. The first section of pipeline was pressurized with nitrogen on June 20, 1977, and oil was introduced behind it. Because of the cold temperature of the pipeline and the slow rate at which oil was introduced, it took 31 days for the first oil to travel from Prudhoe to Valdez. Two medals struck for the "25th Anniversary World's Greatest Suspension Bridge/ Golden Gate Bridge 1937 1962. One is stamped " .999+ Pure Silver"; weight is 64mm, 6.67 troy oz.; the other is stamped "Medallic Arts Co. N.Y. Bronze." Both are 2½" in diameter and were sculpted by Spero Anargyros. Lot 436		WW II Relics: Ludendorff Bridge, Bullet Frame, Mortar Shell Ash Trays, French Parachute Sample, Bullion Rank Badge. Collection of ephemera and "trench art" : 1) The Battle of Remagen during the Allied invasion of Germany resulted in the surprise capture of the Ludendorff Bridge over the Rhine and likely shortened World War II in Europe. This proved one of the last bridges still standing even after a significant detonation by the Germans to destroy it. The Allies were able to rapidly transport five divisions across the Rhine into Germany's industrial heartland. Unfortunately the bridge collapsed while over 30 American engineers were on it and perished. In 1969 a former captain stationed in Gelnhausen visited the bridge site and retrieved two cobblestones from the bridgehead and made them in to bookends for his father to commemorate his service during WWII. An affidavit/LOA fully explains the provenance. Certainly hand-crafted but the sentiment behind the pieces absolutely sincere and make fine relics for collectors of WWII ephemera. 2) From an officer stationed at The Panama Canal a hand crafted brass frame on wood base flanked by .50 BMG cartridges (empty), this kind of work usually referred to as "trench art". Base engraved "Panama Canal" 3) Remnant of French parachute that has printed in fountain pen ink "Parachute from French plane shot down by US Forces at Port Lyautey, French Morocco, West Africa, Nov. 8, 1942" and includes bullion rank badge of the Turret Captain who kept it. 4.) Two mortar shell ashtrays, the largest a shell (24 pounder?) dated 1945 on base signed (after several attempts) by soldier who made it 5.82" in diameter, the other 20mm MK-2 Shell ashtray with butt rests made of bent Panamanian coins no doubt made while stationed at The Panama Canal. Lot 437		Collection of Four Handsome Antique Gentleman's Walking Canes. Four antique walking canes from the 19th and 20th centuries all distinguished by their attractive horn and mixed metal handles. Ranging from 34 to 38 inches in length one is a natural African walking stick with horn handle, the other three are bone or horn handled with and silver banded collars and hardwood shafts indicative of the elegance of times past. The longer bone handled cane has a sterling silver chased collar with a floral motif and initialed A. Turner, 1906. All fine with one cane missing it brass tip. Lot 438		Two Outstanding Commemorative Silver French Medals, Ca. 1930s in Original Cases With Stunning High Relief Designs. Two rare French commemorative silver medallions from the boasting gorgeous designs. 1.) By René Baudichon a vintage silver medal commemorating the Fête Laïque de la Jeunesse (Secular Festival of Youth) in the French commune Levallois-Perret. It depicts the sculpted image of a Grecian woman resting her hand against the handle of an axe. The piece is engraved with the artist�s name to the lower left edge. The reverse features various images and is engraved "Ville De Levallois-Perret" and "Fête Laïques de la Jeunesse". On edge is marked "argent" (silver) 2.) By Depose, a stunning high relief medallion République Francais and reverse "Conseils Municipaux" 1929-1935 also stamped "argent" (silver) on edge.
